This site is dedicated to helping you gain a better understanding of personal finance and investments.
My name is Stuart Langridge.
In September 2003 I started writing a monthly email newsletter to clients and contacts about personal finance and investments. The newsletter ended in late 2008 when I left full-time work within financial services. At it's height, I had readers in over 40 countries.
The newsletter was free then and the articles still are today. The articles written over the months are shown here to help a much wider audience.
In August 2006 I began writing a monthly personal finance column for the European Voice, a weekly EU political newspaper owned by The Economist. The column lasted for nearly 2 years and they are also now available to all on this site.
It is my belief that there is only one person in the world capable of putting your financial interests first - no matter what! That person, is YOU. But for that to happen, you need to have impartial information to help guide your decision making.
Therefore, this site is dedicated to helping individuals learn about financial planning, investments, and the economic and political issues that influence every one of us. There are also a number of pages dedicated to the stock market (here and here).
